Thank you if you have already submitted but if you have not you still have until Thursday 23 March at noon. With the extra exhibiting galleries we will have this year having taken the prestigious Threadneedle Space there will be more opportunities for non members than ever before which always makes for an exciting show.

We have always tried to make this Open Exhibition as fair as possible to those submitting for the first time as well as those non-members who support us on a more regular basis and when we look at the records we are very proud that we have been able to include such a good proportion of non members exhibitors. Katherine Tyrell arguably the most important Art Critic in the U.K. had some interesting things to say on the judging of members and non members when critiquing last years SWA show and I am sure it will make good reading. http://makingamark.blogspot.co.uk/2016/08/review-society-of-women-artists-annual-exhibition-2016.html

This year the SWA are launching their Young People's Initiative with a Champagne Reception with Celebrities Tuesday 4 July 6.30 - 8.30pm. New young member artists are very important to us and ensure our importance in the future Art movement so if you are 18 - 35 years old please take advantage of our special £8 submission rate, We have special Young Artist Awards too and very much look forward to seeing your work.
