Let's put the first sculpture on the Hove Plinth
Great news for all who support Hove Civic Society's plan to bring new public sculpture to Hove by installing a new sculpture plinth on the Hove seafront. Thanks to support from the public, the project has secured the resources needed to build Hove Plinth. Now the focus is on raising the funds for the inaugural sculpture, Constellation by Jonathan Wright.
Renowned international sculptor Christine Charlesworth is honoured and delighted that 6 of her
sculptures are at Chelsea Flower Show, which opened 22nd May. They will be featured in
the 'Come to Your Senses' Eco Garden designed by Vicky Page of Scotts Miracle-Gro,
Frimley. The garden aims to tackle the overstimulated and sedentary lives of children in the
UK with a design that encourages children to enter the haven of a garden. It will be situated
in the Discovery Zone of the Great Pavilion.
