BARBARA ROBJANT
ASWA
Barbara’s bold contemporary landscapes are mainly inspired by the beautiful Chiltern Hills where she lives. Her approach to capturing landscape is to look for the play of light and colour rather than to capture detail, so that her paintings lean towards abstraction but still retain the essence of the scene, particularly of the season. She works with strong colours, using loose marks and brush strokes, in oil, acrylics and mixed media.
Barbara works from home in her studio in Sarratt in Hertfordshire. She is represented by galleries in Chelsea, Marlow and Thame.
